Of all signs, Pisces is the most susceptible to outside influence. The Pisces is very sensitive indeed, extremely unworldly and impractical, and always eager to try and escape from reality. On the positive side, the Piscean has great compassion and an ability to relive the suffering of others, either practically, perhaps by nursing them, or in a more remote sense like meditation. But she cannot stand too much reality. If she is wise, she escapes 'positively', through the arts - by developing a flair, perhaps on a professional level, for poetry, acting, mime or dancing.

If she is unwise, she may allow to escape through drugs, which will accentuate her natural weak will and indecisiveness. For this reason she will find it more than usually difficult to fight against their influence and must avoid ever starting to take them. One can readily use 'watery' metaphors in speaking of Pisceans, for their characteristics are often those of the sea, with its hidden depths, sudden storms, and strong and shifting currents.

The Piscean's torrent of emotion is so deep and strong that she herself may be confused and tormented by it. The more she can impose a creative shape on it, the greater chance she has of coming to terms with it psychologically. Some of the world's most inspired artists have this sign prominent on their charts, and have been able to use their emotions through their art.

Confusion and lack of purpose can turn the Piscean's emotion in on herself - and all will be lost. It is not easy for the Piscean to conform, she cannot cope with discipline or routine, and will not run her life in anything like a regimented and orderly way. Her natural kindness, sympathy, charm and genuine 'softness' will inspire her friends, and because of his delightful manner they will probably not notice the chaos which all to often abound in the Piscean home.

Piscean sentimentality can sometimes annoy other, more practical, down-to-earth people, but to make up for this, her devotion and helpfulness to others is something from which more materialistic person can learn, revealing as it does an approach to life so very different to their own.
